To get to the next level I need to:
- Give opinions about the purpose of the story and the characters
- Use important information to show my understanding
- Make connections to the stories I read by first asking “What do I already know about this?”

To get to the next level I need to:
- Add in some detail using powerful words
- Add details to my plan and use my plan carefully when I am writing
- Read my sentences out loud to a friend to check that they sound right

To get to the next level I need to:
