NZ Shake Out Day T3W11

NZ  Shake Out Day!!!

Today was  New Zealand National Shake Out Day. At  9:26 there was an earthquake drill.I  was at my desk,  so I dropped, Covered and held to stay safe. One thing we did well at T.P.S was we all got under our desks at the same time. One thing I need to work on next time is to stick together with the teachers.Our meeting place is  outside the hall. Remember, in the event of an earthquake DROP, COVER, HOLD.

Day Two Observations

(Day 2 observation) The big kumara and the small kumara is growing roots.

Future Question

1. What would happen if you grow the kumara with no roots?

2. What would happen if you leave the kumara outside the sun everyday?

Day One Observations

I observed that the little kumara  has grown little roots.The big kumara didn’t  grow roots because the container was leaking so there was no water.Now that I’m wondering what happens next.

My investigations

Here is me doing my investigations about kumara. I hypothesis that the small kumara is going to grow roots because the small one is still growing.
