Persuasive Writting
Do you save energy? Well I do and I agree that we should all save energy and power. How do you do it? Well I will explain to you now.
If we don’t save energy and power our world will get polluted and will be running out of money from all the energy that we wasted. If we do save energy we will be able to buy food and clothes for our own family.
My next reason is that if we all work together on all different kind of energy sources like solar energy, wind power and the renewable energies then our world will become much better. Since this year New Zealand is on track.
And my last reason is about our environment. Our forest and trees has been cut so they can make things out of them like pencils and paper. I think that we should save our trees and use computers and laptops but we have to use less energy. If we cut down our trees humans won’t get that much energy.
This is why I believe we should save energy.

It is awesome that we have electricity at our fingertips but do you know how to be safe around electricity.If you have little children in your house make sure that they are safe around electricity. Never Climb power lines because you might get hurt. Never fly your kite where the power lines are.

Day One Observations
I observed that the little kumara has grown little roots.The big kumara didn’t grow roots because the container was leaking so there was no water.Now that I’m wondering what happens next.

My holiday Recount
In the holidays I went to Rainbows End with my cousins and sister. My cousin parked the car. And we walk through the gates got my wristband and got my map that show me where to go. When I saw pirate ship, fear fall and the bumper boat and I was thinking I can’t wait to get on the rides.
It was an exciting morning for me because my parents told me and my sister to go have fun with my cousins at Rainbows End.Then my sister gave my cousin one hundred dollars that my mum gave her to give to
my cousin. But my cousin said it's all right we have enough money to buy stuff.
Then my cousin said “ Let's go on the Motion Master” and my sister said “Hurry up before we miss out!”
One of my cousin, was just relaxing walking and we missed out on the motion master so we have to wait in line for about ten to fifteen minutes.
Then the lady came out and gave us 3D glasses. We walked inside and the lady turned off the lights and we have to watch this TV. When we finish
watching the TV then we have go in this room where you see lots of chairs lining up in each row. Then the lady told us the rules and she told us to empty our pockets because you might lose anything in your pockets. Then I sat on the chair next to sister. Then we have hold onto
the handle then we watch a big screen and then the chair started moving around and the chair started go faster and faster. The we finish
watching the big screen then the chair started going slow. Then I said “it was fast it only took us about five minutes” and then my cousin said “ who cares.” As soon as we walk to the log ride we were waiting in a line
for our turn to go on the ride. When we got inside the log my cousin took some picture of me with her phone. When we went in the tunnel it was
so cool because we saw all of these lights around us and some pirate ships it was so awesome. Then we got at the end of the tunnel I saw
a camera and the word smile. Then I smile to the camera, then the ride
went down fast when the log hit the ground. All of the water went up
and I was a little bit wet because when the water hit the ground it went all over the place.
When we got off the log we walk to the shops and brought some candy floss and a drink when I finish my drink and candy floss we walk to
the Invader soon as we got there I spewed up outside the Invader. I
was feeling dizzy then I sat down my I cousin bought a drink and gave
me a panadol then I felt better. Then my cousin took a picture of when I spewed up.When I looked at picture when I was sitting down I was laughing. As I was just watched my cousin going on the invader it made me want to spew up again.

Movie Magic Evaluation
I think that Good Actors is the most important element to movie making because... You have to have good actors. If you don’t have good Actors your movie will look bad because it won’t look realistic and it won’t be believable.
I put Good editing and Fancy costumes second because... You can’t have a movie with no costumes because it won’t stand out. You need good editing because if you don’t, the movie will look strange and out of order.
Another important element is range of camera shots and angles because... if you don’t have any camera shots and angles, your movie will look bad.
Other important elements that aren’t included here are...
Motion and Time
My biggest lightbulb moment while learning about movie magic was. editing and acting because acting is cool. When I grow up, I might be an actor. Editing was fun because you learn lots of stuff by using iMovie.

Room 8 Speeches

I felt nervous when I was watching the other people doing their speeches, but when I got up I felt awesome.
What was the hardest part about preparing a speech?
The hardest part about preparing my speech was eye contact.
